Ski Whitetail

Lehet, hogy ti már unjátok a képek monoton témáját, de nálunk egész télen a síelés a sláger, ezért dominálnak a havas képek ezekben a hetekben. Mivel a nagy globális világválság közepette a mexikói nyaralásunk terve is meghiúsult, minden bánatunkat a sípályákon adjuk ki. Múlt vasárnap a pennsylvaniai Whitetail volt az a szerencsés célpont, amelyik zsebre tehette az e heti sípénzünket. Mi tagadás, minden fillérünket megérdemelték, mert istenit síeltünk tengerkék ég alatt, verőfényes napsütésben. Természetesen megint a Lili volt a nap sztárja, mert pöttöm négyéves létére igazi szlalommozdulatokkal cikázott le a pályákon. Szédületes a kiscsaj! Jó szórakozást a rövid filmösszeállításhoz. Reméljük, elnézitek a remegő képminőséget -- valószínűleg az operatőrnek nem kellett volna felvétel közben síelnie, ugye?

You might be getting sick of the snowy pictures, but since skiing is our number one pastime this winter, snow is the only background you get. Given that our Cancun plans for March have fallen through (booo recession), skiing is pretty much the only thing that can cheer us up these days. Last Sunday, Whitetail Resort in Pennsylvania was the lucky winner of our weekly "Where should we go skiing?" game. It turned out to be the perfect choice, as we got to ski and sunbathe under clear ocean blue sky most of the day. (Thank goodness we didn't waste our money on a trip to Mexico!) Lili was obviously the star of the day: she was zigzagging down on all blue slopes, turning heads and evoking "Oooh"s and "Aaah"s and "Aaww"s all along.
